No more "Tubes"!

They moved Sam to the Level II Nursery from the Level III NICU. His nurses took out the tube in his nose yesterday, which was keeping his stomach empty. He also got to eat! They started giving him Pedialyte, which he he gobbled right up. Hopefully today he will be able to have some milk. His surgeon is hoping to "fatten" him up a bit before his surgery. He has not lost any weight since birth and actually gained a little due to the "food" he is getting through his IV. He weighs 7 lbs. as of last night. Without his tubes, we will need to come up with a new nickname for him...
