Slowly...

...getting better with the camera. Being home for the next two weeks should give me lots of practice.

NEW camera

We got ourselves a beautiful, early Christmas gift...Still learning how to use it. Lots of erased pictures, but also a decent amount of good ones. Then again, I have pretty good subjects.

The Many Faces of Sam

You never know what you are going to get with him...

Wally

Meet Wally, the Elf on the Shelf, the newest addition to our family...at least until Christmas. He watches Miles & Sam and reports to Santa when we sleep. Miles and Sam talk to him. He has quite a list of "wants" to report to Santa (seascopes, rocket ships, yellow cars, paper to draw rocket ships, markers to draw rocket ships...did I mention rocket ships?). He comes back every morning after his journeys to the North Pole tired and in a different place than we had left him the night before...

Sweet and Sour

Sam is the sweetest, most lovable, full of kisses little boy...however, he has the tendency to be very contrary (just to be so). Mr. Sweet and Sour as we like to call him.

Mr. Sour
I will not wear shoes to go outside. In his words, "I only want to wear my feet." Needless to say, there was no outside time for Sammy...although he tried. Thank goodness for door locks.

Mr. Sweet
Love this beautiful little thing...

The Rocket Launch

Last week, Bryce and Miles got a few rockets...the first one ended up on the rooftop of the middle school (the nice lady in the office found and kept it for us). We tested out the second one yesterday. Greenie came along too.

Mr. Peck

My students are working on a family project right now. They have to disguise Tom Turkey so that he cannot be eaten on Thanksgiving. We did one too. Meet Mr. Peck, the NASA Rocket Designer...
