The Alphabet Song

He was interrupted when he realized he had to go to the bathroom.

Mt. Charleston

We packed a lunch and took the boys up to "Little Big Bear" as Miles called it. Miles is a natural explorer and 100% boy. He is also incredibly funny. While pretending to be "Beaver Boy" ( from his favorite show "Peep") he actually took a bite of bark from a tree and spit it out explaining "that was not MY food." Of course, our other little man, Sam, didn't make a peep. He is an incredible little creature who is hardly ever bothered by the fact that he still cannot poop on his own. Unbelievable. He goes to see his surgeon on Wednesday and I will post an update on his recovery.

First Smiles

How sweet he is.

First Few Weeks Home

We have spent the last few weeks getting to know our new little Sam and making him feel comfortable at home. Miles continues to be unbelievable and loves Sam so much. Sam had a quick stay in the hospital after a week being home. He is fine but his little body is still trying to recover from his surgery. He has changed quite a bit. He is up to about 8 1/2 pounds and "talks" to us quite a bit. Although not the way Miles would like. Miles talks to him and asks him questions, but then comes to us and says "Sam isn't answering me." Pretty darn cute.

Wacko Miles

Dance Party

He has sweet moves!

Brothers

Miles has been an AWESOME big brother and has been incredibly helpful. The other day he was helping me change Sam's diaper and Sam starting peeing...all over Miles. It was pretty funny!

Welcome Home Sam!

Sam came home last Monday and we have been adjusting to life as a family of four. Sam is doing well and got a good check-up report from his surgeon and his pediatrician. We are SOOOOO happy to be at home with him.
