Geocaching

Bryce got a handheld GPS for his birthday...
We took the boys out geocaching for most of the morning. Being the natural explorers that they are, they had a BLAST.
On our way to our first find:

Did you find something Sam?

Our first find...lots of loot. The rule is that you take something and leave something. We left mints and a slinky. We took a Nemo toy and an alien head eraser.

On the way back to the car...My almost 4 year old & I.

On the way to the next find:

Our second find, again lots of loot. We left 3 Chuck E. Cheese tokens and a toy Bass Pro Shop cooler with 20 cents. We took a rubber frog (Sam's choice) and ear plugs (Miles' s choice and yes, they were brand new, in the package).

By the way, anyone with kids, big or small, should definitely try geocaching. Even little Sammy had a great time!

Bryce, Jenn and kids: On behalf of Jeanelle, my wife, we are DEEPLY HONORED by your tribute to her. Yes, her last request/goal was to see the fall colors change in the New England area. Should her Geocache make it there I'm sure she will be smiling down upon everyone who "made it happen."

Thank you for such a thoughtful tribute to a truly special person.
