Preparing for surgery...
Surgery is Over! We came to Cincinnati expecting a rough and painful recovery due to Sam having an incision below his belly button. Apparently, 1 out of 10 babies having a re-do of Sam's type of surgery do not need an incision and it is all done through the bum. Sam was one of the lucky 1 out of 10 kids. Just took this shot after we got back to the room following his surgery. He is resting well...

Poor guy. I hope he is doing well. I hope you are recovering too, not fun seeing your baby like that!
Glad he didn't have to have the incision. Also glad the surgery is all over now...get well Sam!!!
