Keeping up with Sam has been the focus of this blog for a long time. However, there is also another important Barnhart boy who has not had an update. Miles Charles is incredible, sweet, and smart, if not brilliant. He is the perfect combination of Bryce and I. Just a few "Milesisms"-
1.) he can recite his whole name, his phone number, his street, city, and state
2.) he calls everyone he loves "his best friends"
3.) he calls the moon his "best buddy"
4.) he calls all "girly" things "fancy"
5.) he still calls Lindsay "CC"
6.) he has a sister (who is actually a boy) that lives in his pocket and her name is "Dip Charles Barnhart"
7.) he can recite Shel Silverstein poems better than my students
8.) he can tell REALLY funny "knock knock" jokes
9.) he knows more about the solar system than we do (for example, Venus is bright because of it's "gleaming cloud cover") He can also tell you whether the moon is waxing or waning.
A few more favorite things about Miles...
1.) he loves Bryce like nothing else
2.) he calls Sam "Smush" or "Smushy" more often than he calls him Sam
3.) he looks out his bedroom window when he wakes up and loves to look at what he says are "all the beautiful things"
4.) he loves bean and cheese burritos (just like me)
5.) he rubs his lip with right ring finger when he gets tired
6.) the way he shakes his bum and says "bummy, bummy"
Man- I could go on and on.
Miles Charles Barnhart- you are truly amazing!

Movin'
This was last weekend. He is even faster now...He loves to "attack" his brother's toys, especially his puzzles.

Ch-ch-ch changes
Yes, Sam is still pooping. Everyone is always asking us...and yes, he is still pooping on his own. No tubes. We can't help but wonder, the straw (see the last post), the straw? Something has turned our sweet boy around. Oh and by the way...crawling, almost crawling. Our hands, arms, however you want to put it...we are busy. At least I am. Bryce leaves for Thailand tomorrow morning...for two weeks.
