Dr. Kogut

Here she is. The fantastic lady who fixed our sweet Sam and continues to care for him and keep him healthy. He weighed in today at 14 1/2 lbs. He is chubby and still so incredibly sweet, happy, and peaceful. Daily dilations and a new laxative that he started today should get him "going"!

Big Bear

We went to Big Bear last weekend. Sam took his first boat ride and Miles had his first fishing experience. Unfortunately, there were no fish caught. Miles had a lot of fun anyways. As always, Miles was a natural little explorer. He doesn't go for walks, he goes for "hikes". Just ask him, he'll tell you.

Life Lately

Sweet Sam gets sweeter every day. However, he did stop pooping again, but he will start soon. His wonderful doctor, Dr. Kogut, continues to assure us that this is normal and continues to admire Sam's happiness and compliance, as do we. He has made all of us stronger as human beings and anyone who gets lucky enough to be a part of his life is rewarded with his daily "conversations" and smiles.

Cousins

Hayden and "Cece" came to town last weekend. Miles loves them so much. It was their first time actually "meeting" Sam. They had only seen him through the window of the nursery when he was still in the hospital (kids couldn't go in the nursery).

Three Months Old

The Best Pumpkin Patch Ever

Pumpkin patches don't get much better than this...Ahhh- we miss Northern California.

Morgan's Party

Sweet little Morgan turned one a few weeks ago and celebrated last weekend. We partied at the park and Miles did not stop playing for about 5 hours.

Sam's First Trip

We went to Santa Cruz for Morgan's first birthday party. Getting through security and onto the airplane was a lot of work (especially when Miles didn't want his shoes to go through the x-ray machine). But once we were on, everything was great. Miles watched TV and Sam slept. Sam also "earned" his wings from the pilot for his first flight.
